I have finally killed a Thargoid Medusa!!

It has taken a lot of practice since my last AX Combat milestone killing the Basilisk but I have finally killed my first Medusa :)
As with the Basilisk it seemed insurmountable at first but practice and patience pays off in the end!

Only one step away from the Hydra now. For the first time it seems like a realistic proposition! :)

Big thank you to the AXI and all the CMDRs in the AX community who share their knowledge and skills with fledgling AX pilots like me :)

Looking forward to more and staying ready for whatver happens next with the Thargoid War!

Haha yes there have been many many failed attempts along the way. far more than with the Basilisk for sure! I changed ship from the Krait 2 to the Cheiftan after my first few Basilisks and haven't looked back. It handles cold orbits so well, i'd definately recommend giving it a go :)
