Yes, thats right!!....I have friends...proper friends, y’know, the type that arrive unexpectedly in the middle of a mission and demand coffee. Worse still, they want to put my Vive on and destroy my ship while i’m making it.

Soooo, I was thinking, wouldn’t it be nice if I could go back to the menu and select a mode that would allow a friend to play the game I was playing but not record any progress made. This would leave me to resume the game from where I left off, whilst giving friends the opportunity to experience the height of the game (and VR) whilst tempting these reprobates to go out and buy it themselves.

I also think good ideas deserve a free skin :x:x ( ill get my coat).

Mmm, second accounts and training missions dont really cut the mustard as they dont give guests a feel for big ships or skipping around on the surface in a buggy. My friends want to “have a go” at what i’m up to rather than a training mission, besides, its great fun watching them mess it up after thinking it looks so easy.

Second accounts would be ok if you make significant progress in advance of using it as a showpiece.

The reason this has cropped up now is that I can allow my coffee swigging friends to do precisely this during beta periods.

3 1/2 days of 24/7 play just so a mate can have a go, you must have some damned good mates .
