I just spent my play time this afternoon grinding rep for the Empire, I was a Knight, and according to a picture I found on the internet, Baron was going to be next, as I completed the mission I was ready to buy my long awaited Clipper, already having the money saved for it. But it turns out I'm a Lord now, and I still have one more rank to climb :( Tomorrow hopefully... I've already decided on my build which I prepared on ED Shipyard.

(Technically I should say that I hope it malfunctions, causes you to crash into the station and wipe them arrogant, stuck up Empire bods .. Long live the Federation!)

Congratulations. Same as you. Got my Clipper about a week ago, just upgraded some components yesterday. I like flying around Federation space in my Imperial ship (although I have a few other ships too). :) Watch the tail fins entering stations.

OP - While I admire your Federation Post Commander status I find it distasteful you also carry a worthless moniker from the misguided sub-humans of the empire.

Unless of course your goal is to cram that new clipper into the Imperial transport of the Emperor at max speed in which case I wish you good luck!

I can only speak for myself. I started with medium gimballed beams and large gimballed cannons, partly for cost, and partly for power. I didn't like the cannons on the Clipper, it's hard to get them both on target spaced so far apart. When I upgraded yesterday, I upgraded power plant and distributor, put in large gimballed beams and medium multi cannons, and I'll see how they work out. I will say that even with class B power plant and distributor, the beams deplete pretty quickly, but they are very powerful. I have 144 tonnes cargo capacity in mine.

well just took her out for a quick spin from founders all a specced and gimballed bursts and multi cannons and 174t of cargo space yum nice sounds and nice flight
