I have not shot down a wedding barge. Yet.

... but the temptation is getting stronger. :)

Its like there is a little progress bar, and each time one of them sends out a broadcast about the happy couple or whatever frequency they are broadcasting on, that bar gets one more tick closer to the point where I am going to have to toast them with a burst laser.

Maybe its me, but I would think that if your system is fill with ships running around shooting at each other that might not be the best time to wander around in something so maneuverable its call a 'barge.'

You certainly aren't the only one. I often feel the urge to burn some holes in their ships when they spam the chat with messages of 'happiness'. Same with the funeral barges. And every time I come out on one of those 'Ariel's or 'Magpie's I scan them - just HOPING for the day when one of them is wanted and I can freely sink them.

There used to be missions to kill them and the funeral ships. Haven't seen those missions since beta 2 though.

My local pirate faction has plenty of those "lets give the happy couple something to remember" and the funeral ones too "rubbing salt in the wounds".

I did try taking out a funeral procession, but the three sidey escorts held me off long enough for the authority ships to arrive.

Glad to see they haven't disappeared then. Not that I'd ever do anything like that... :D

hehe I also fight against my tempations. But for me, the Mineral Magpie and Technology Aquisisions are still in front. Oh, I really hate these guys...

Two things I never attack: funerals and miners. Weddings are in 'the other' list. I am however never attacking for free. Anyone cargo-scanned them?
