I have officially lost all my marbles

I'm trying to transfer, from my carrier to my ship, the stuff shown in box B in the image below (I just want to get rid of them).

Now, when I select an item and arrow left to move the data from the carrier, the number in box A ticks down as if they have moved, but the items in box B do not, in fact, move at all.

I realise this may be early onset frontal lobe pickling, but could someone please explain - in simple terms so an old geezer can understand - what in the name of Braben is going on? *

There is a bug, where if you have 0 items of that type in your "pocket", then you get the described behaviour :(

Workaround is to do it via bartender.

To avoid, always leave just 1 item of each type on you instead of transferring everything to your carrier.

Ah! Phew, thanks. Thought I'd really lost it this time...

For some reason, this particular issue was referenced in the trailblazers update 3.2 post even though it doesn't match the mentioned description. Thankfully it has not been closed as fixed because it definitely still exists. I think somebody misread something and didn't realize it applied to on-foot materials rather than commodities.
