I hope Frontier is listening about "Sandbox" Mode You will lose credibility if its not included.....

Like seriously, you will lose so much credibility if this isn't included. With your history, how are you going to sell a game to build your own park but not have a sandbox mode (I am not talking about unlimited money etc, im talking blank island with all the challenges incorporated, but not story driven like the other islands)

I've been reading multiple forums for hours over the past few days and its the most talked about thing. I really hope you are not this disengaged with your fan base.

The 2nd most requested thing seems to be day / night cycle. I know your reasoning, but again do you even know what your fans want? I was SO excited i even pre-ordered but the more info that comes out, the more worried im getting its just going to be a simple money grab.

Please just be trolling us with being so vague on some things.

I never even considered there wouldn't be a sandbox mode until now.

That will be a game breaker. Sometimes people just want to be choose an amount of money to start with (or unlimited money) and build without been tied down with story and missions.

It's something that should be a standard feature in a park sim. Frontier need to come clean and say whether it's in or not. Not be vague and say "it's a popular idea" or whatever the statement was.

Yes or no, is sandbox mode included. If not will it be included in a later patch. Because if not, I'm not paying lose to £60 for the game when it's coming across as a mobile title with good graphics.

Hopefully, they assess the situation, take the feedback and come out with whats planned for release. Them being quiet about the most talked about topics, to me at least, seems like that won't be up to expectations / implemented at release so it's easier to stay quiet for day 1 sales then say it outright and lose on them.

I'm not trying to be Mr. Negative here. Trust me, I really want this game to succeed and be profitable for improvements in the future but not at the expense of us fans getting, well... shafted.

I doubt Frontier would make a game like this and not have some kind of sandbox mode. It makes no sense. I believe Nublar will be the sandbox mode, of course after you get a five star rating on it.

I don't know exactly how the game will playout/work. But if a sandbox mode is part of Nublar I doubt they will say anything. BestInSlot said during the Reddit AMA that when asked about a sandbox mode they responded with "wouldn't that be cool if it was in the game". They are obviously being coy here. They aren't going to say anything cause it's all tied to Nublar. I also believe all the islands will be involved in the sandbox mode but I don't know why someone would want to play sandbox on a small play area, but whatever makes people happy I guess. Sandbox would be best on the largest play areas you could possibly get. Obviously Nublar will be one of them.

RTC 3 had no proper sandbox (with economy) mode, unless you made a custom scenario.
It was one of the only things I didn't like.

That, and a terrain generator. Lol
