Although Chrome looks pretty cool I hardly ever use those shiny paints.
I bought a couple of them , Chrome, Gold, etc. but always revert to the nicer paints like the Horus pack, etc.

I can't remember if it was a Christmas deal but there was a number of black paint jobs with a gold wire frame released some time back. It was a nod to the original Elite and they look amazing. If they did more I'd buy them.

I hardly ever see my SLFs anyway, because they are so fast and tiny... that's why I never even considered buying any paintjobs for them. But sure, we need more chrome... also the Clipper needs chrome. And the Krait. And the Mamba. And the Dropship. And... oh well...

Hopefully the Krait Phantom ship kit makes the ship look like a medium size Imperial Cutter. Don't want another kit that turns a triangle into a square.

Yes Chrome and Gold are too pretentious.

Classical paints often have more class.
