I just can't unsee it :(

Several Standard paint Jobs that are still broken.
There are many more ships that have this problem but man, it's almost been a year.

Almost all of the paints for the Clipper are broken. They all have that dirty splotchy texture and no amount of gloss at all.

At least that's only broken in the detail. Iridecent gleam is broken completely in Odyssey. Your examples just look like the decorator was drunk. :D

I see the point of your complaint, that some of the paintjobs do not appear to be well executed but...

a) can you be sure that this isn't by design
and
b) does it affect your game play?

I like to imagine that the speed with which you can change paint jobs on a ship is enabled by some massive robot arm zipping round your ride flinging out paint.. in microgravity. Personally I think they do OK.

In the 34th century I don't think your Cutter gets a full buff to metal c/w stencilling etc. when you change the paint job!
