I just wanted to say "thanks".

Although in saying that, there seems to have been a bit of a lapse in communication at the moment, which is worrying considering how many new bugs people are reporting. The animals escaping through solid barriers, that weird "navigation is being regenerated" message and the subsequent drop in quality, the one where keepers are getting trapped in a loop in the keeper hut...

Last time this happened they were onto it pretty quickly. Obviously I'm not trying to imply that Frontier is deliberately avoiding us or anything (I'm sure there's a lot going on with most countries still in lockdown and whatnot), but hopefully we'll hear something about Update 1.2.5 pretty soon.

before the new version 1.2.5 was released, I think there should be an optimization at the game level, because the game becomes unplayable as more people start from 6k, I get 8 to 11 fps, then the menus become so slow that i even gave up playing temporarily until some bugs are resolved and optimized

Usually every update comes with stability fixes.

is it really neccessary to hijack a "thank you" thread? It's a little over a week today (in the middle of the night) that the update was released. Yes, the new bugs are unfortunate. But I have yet to feel really ignored by Frontier. Some bugs took longer to be ironed out, but I'm pretty sure that's natural.

The OP is right. A lot of companies can learn a thing or two of Frontier. Of course not everything is perfect. Of course the communication could be better sometimes. That doesn't mean that it isn't GOOD in general, though.

So I second the thanks and am looking forward to future updates and future support.

Settle down. I'm not "hijacking" anything, nor did I say I feel ignored. In fact, if you had read the whole post, you would have seen that I specifically said that I don't think this is a deliberate lack of communication, and that I understand there are probably good reasons as to why we haven't heard anything from them in a while.

In any case, in the past we have seen updates come mere days after each other when the issues were more urgent, so at least we know that when there are things that need doing, Frontier is usually onto it pretty quickly. I'd say the bug that is allowing animals to pass right through solid barriers probably warrants at least some acknowledgment, however, since for those experiencing it it is pretty much game-breaking when it occurs frequently.

None of this is happening on my side. Only the regeneration message, but everything looks, feels and runs fine.

And I agree with the "thanks" message. I'm really enjoying the game.

Bugs don't always affect everyone. There have been myriad bugs in the past that I never came across, but other people did. Another good example is the recent dehydration bug; there were a lot of people who had no clue what anyone was talking about, yet for those of us experiencing it it was a pain in the A.

Anyway, forgive me if I'm giving off the wrong "vibe" or whatever, the thread just reminded me of the fact that we haven't had much communication this week because OP specifically mentioned 'fast support'. As I said in both my posts I agree that Frontier is really good at providing support, I was just pointing out that it's been a while since we've heard much. I wasn't having a dig at anyone.

As for 'thanks', sure, I'm grateful. The game is amazing, the support is more often than not really good, and it's certainly nice to have frequent communication. I also gave them my money on three separate occasions, which is really the bottom line they're looking for. 😅

Depends on the game and how long it's been out.
