General / Off-Topic I keep getting attacked when I play.

Once last night and twice tonight. Every one follows the same strategy. They start on the far wall near the ceiling, walk across to the side wall, along the side wall until they're about thee feet in front of me, then down the wall to my PC desk, then on to my keyboard. That's right it's those large house spiders that come out this time of the year to stalk me.

I normally deal with them by placing a large jamjar over them, then slide a piece of card under to hold them in while I carry them to the back door and chuck them out, but the second one tonight was massive. It was much bigger than the jamjar, so I had to use my 2 litre measuring jug. His legs extended to about 6 inches.

It's really infuriating because as soon as I see one, I know it's going to come for me, which ruins my concentration on the game. I'd hate to be in a battle with a wing of three when the one starts his final descent. These things aren't harmless. I've been bitten three times by them in the past and each time I got a big itchy lump and a lot of swelling around it.

Is anybody else having to deal with them at the moment? I'm still puzzled what attracts them to me. Do I look like a fly?

When a spider comes into my room, I systematically kill it (with RAID)

I know it’s hard but they must feel the danger because they are really very rare to come and take risks.

You can use ecological repellent occasionally on the edges of your windows. They should be more suspicious before engaging.

Spider season here too. Couple weeks ago a really large evil-looking one crossed the floor towards my slippers. I was about to do something about it, and a tiny white one rushed OUT of my slipper, and killed the big one in less than a minute. I've started checking my footwear.

I heard that spiders have the capacity to see what's on the screen. :)

Well, these are the in-game bugs everyone keeps talking about.
Whether or not that means 'game breaking bugs' or 'Thargoids' is up to you to interpret ;)

Open windows and its warmer inside.

You need a bird inside your house, once the bird becomes an issue you then need to get yourself a cat, Then a dog, Then a goat, then a minister, then a rhinosaurus.

be careful not to die near the end though.
