I know it's been said before but..

The sound effects in this game are incredible. I'm currently in a Cobra at the moment, having just docked after a manic fight with 2 Anacondas, 2 Vipers and a Eagle all around me, that was good enough, but after getting repairs at an outpost, even the sound of throttling up and then boosting away, hearing things that sound like stress and engine whine, brilliant.

Well done Sound, people :)

(Take it as read that the graphics are beautiful too, I'd spent my life dreaming of watching the sun rise over the Earth, and this is as near as I'll get, and the way you've portrayed that, pushed me to the edge of emotional ;-)

Cheers FD :)

I love when you turn flight assist off and the main engines go quiet. All you can hear are the cool ambient sounds effects of your ship :D

The sound when large ships blow up is beuatiful. Blam. Blam. KABLOOOHM

The only problem I have is that I can't get the volume up the point where I want it. I have everything on max, but I find it to be just a little bit too low.

I run dual 780ti-SC's, and normally get fps around 180. And yet it still stutters. This has been an issue since beta.

do you ever run in single card mode? to see if the SLI is an Issue? Though tbh not sure when SLI was implemented in Elite, might be worth retrying if you did at the time incase it's a new bug?

780ti's, nice, that with an Intel CPU? what speed mem you running with that?

Sorry to add to that, it's just I noticed a marked improvement in the stutter (except during hyperspace) all the way through the latter beta/gamma phases, and I seem to remember SLI support coming in a bit later, though I might have to check my facts on that one.

I think volume at some points is restricted a bit, almost muffled, I did wonder if it was to save ear drums or speakers, as the Whump! of entering hyperspace is really noticeable on speakers for me

Have to agree, with all he said. I LOVE the sound design in this game. I switch to headphones when I play and when I used the D-Scanner for the first time I almost creamed my pants ;)
