Okay I know my last thread was controversial. Happens. Sometimes a dude says something & he doesn't foresee the upset it can cause. I'm very sorry about that.

Anyway the cases made in that thread did have an impact on my thinking, and, well, here's what I just bought in game:

Yes, I decided to use an ADS after all. :3 I have you to thank for that. I know the weapons are pointless, but I hate, and I mean hate like those dermatologists hate that woman with perfect skin... I hate empty hardpoints. I also insist on some amount of cargo racks, even on a fighter, and the fuel scoop? Just decided to sacrifice a few seconds saving in favour of a massive price reduction. Thoughts?

I might go for the C-rate scoop. It's another 10 seconds to refuel, but it's still less than a minute from empty, and shaves another few million off the price.

Don't do that, you can resell it once you're back and money has no use in the deep. If the unthinkable happens, that the extra rebuy cost will be you smallest problem. I'd go with the best scoop. :)

And I used to be fine with my 6C scoop until I went to my 6A scoop...I will never ever go back to anything other than a 6A. The only drawback...it scoops so quickly that if you are trying to manage fuel levels to maximize a jump...takes some getting used to...

I actually made an oddball decision in the end.

Opted for a 5A scoop, and a HUGE Size 6 SRV hangar!

Just because.

now - you want to bring weapons for that?

if you do, I'd suggest getting all types of damage covered. you are missing explosives (missiles).

Two thoughts

1. Two mining lasers seems excessive in a rig that doesn't have Collection Limpets

2. If you are going for Small Mining, take the Lance since it is weaponized.

No upset, other people have different opinions, if we got upset over every different opinion we would be upset all day. :D
