I like it. It has some bugs but is too easy if you upgrade strategically.
I start my team with all 1 star, and I pick two real drivers the Ferrari Reserve and the pourboire guy 79 and 75, so not the best drivers but decent and three start engineers (those are usually the fake ones)
In the first season I got constructor 7th place
In the second season I got constructor 3rd place
In the third season, I won very often. Every race quickly got 1st place
(with the same two drivers, I didn't change any of my team)
I upgrade very quickly all my stuff to V2 I never need to get V3, so I under usually spend on the car. If you focus on developing everything min and only the specific strength of the part to max, you can quickly get good results.
I play with Hard and Hard, and I love the fact that there is a hard cap of the money so I can catch up quickly, but I feel the extensive team development is a bit lame I would feel I should catch up 1st position in 5-6 years, not at the begin of the 3rd
I know it's a lot of races, and if you place all 2x speed, 1 season will last very long, so I understand the idea to make it so that you can win in 3 seasons, but then I think we need an "extra hard" setup with more failure of the engine and more accidents. They say AI only upgrade 1 piece over and over
Overall, despitee some bugs, I feel the game is enjoyable and more challenging than in previous years. Oh, another advice would be to develop a kind of minigame when you research the parts. It would be fun if it were more interactive.
I heard it's because the other AI doesn't upgrade the car correctly. Is it true? Should I wait to play a new patch?
