Hello, I am mostly lurker, I like to play in solo mode.
Lore and writing is nice in this game, I got hooked.
I am looking for clues on wikis/forums, but there is so much noise and information is so spread out, that I spend a lot of time looking at some posts and tin-hat theories, and it is slowly tiring me out.
Two biggest riddles are raxxla and TDW, and I like solving riddles.
To the point: I will try to be short and precise, if anyone can point me in right direction or show me some faults in my thinking - please do, big thank you.
Please don't respond in ways "raxxla will be found when devs will want it to be found" or other unconstructive ways. It is unhelpful. There are enough clues in game, i think.
If you want to help me - please link to source or tell me if I am wrong somewhere (and point me to the source that explains why I am wrong).
I want to be precise and have somewhat methodical approach. I want to condense knowledge in this thread and find a link between many clues.
To the point:
What do I know about raxxla?
1. It exists in game. - (author said that in an interview, no link so far)
2. We are looking for it/at it, but in the wrong places, or cannot recognise it. - (author said that in an interview, no link so far)
3. It is linked to Omphalos Rift - artifact described as a gateway or a tunnel to parallel universes - (codex entry)
4. It is linked to a story Astrophel and Spiralling Stars - (codex entry)
5. Some people (npcs) have found it and dont want others to find it. - (codex entry, novel The Dark Wheel, The Club?)
6. It is linked to group Dark Wheel - (codex entry, novel The Dark Wheel)
Conclusion so far: It is out there, we are missing the clues we are given.
What do I know about TDW?
1. Group of adventurers, thieves, traders. - (codex entry, novel The Dark Wheel)
2. Group is made of other groups/individuals and have many "layers". - (no link, it was mentioned in a novel I did not read)
3. They will contact 'bravest and most competent' pilots and give them some kind of a test. - (codex entry)
4. It is futile to try and contact them. (codex entry)
5. Minor faction in Shinrata Dezhra system. (link)
6. Have a nice logo with some unsolved clues. - (logo)
7. Linked to Cmdr Salome, an imperial noble deserter - (Salome)
8. Linked to raxxla. - (codex entry, novel The Dark Wheel)
9. Photo in the codex may be a clue. (codex)
10. Toast may give some clues to their location / raxxla location. (codex)
Conclusion so far: They are out there, they can contact us, we cannot contact them.
