I forget which station i stored it in, is there anyway to check ?

Go to the ship yard, then there is a tab that says stored ships, it tells you the system and how far it is from your location.

The Shipyard has a Stored Ships tab that shows the location, it should also have an Icon in the Galaxy map.

Beward there is a current bug that will occasionally tell you your ship is somewhere other than where it is actually docked. So if you reach the system and your ship isn't there, you'll have to wait till the bug is fixed if you can't remember where you docked.

Go to a station with a shipyard and check the "ship locations" tab. It will tell you where and what you have stored.

Oh goodie, someone that can't find his ship - that was new. I was more expecting the usual "I lost my ship for no good reason, and stupid game won't let me have it back just because I did not bother to have enough cash stashed away to cover the insurance. This is a scandal!" type of thread
