LostWinds I love it!!!

Hello everybody...

When I saw the first 'Lost Winds' pictures, I immediatly fell in love with the graphic design of the game. Today, first day of the European Wiiware channel and I bought the game. I can tell you that I'm not disappointed about it. The game is great and I hope (like a lot of people) that there will be a sequel :)

Great job guys!!!

:)

Thx for the info :)

... My kids love it too! (they've discovered it this morning after their homeworks)

... I'm thinking that 'Lost Winds' could be also a nice game for the Nintendo DS... Think about it ;)

I second the sentiments expressed here. Lost Winds is by far the most enjoyable game I've played on Wii since Wii Sports. The music is evocative and catchy, the art direction and animation touching and emotive.

OK sure, the game play conventions might be a bit hoary, but isn't that the point? (I'm talking to YOU Gamespot). The Wii controls are what make this in to something way beyond a standard platformer.

The controls are so well concieved - having a slow-mo on the A button is a genius move - it totally prevents any frustration. Then when you're more adept you can rinse through sequences of moves effortlessly. It's a really clever set up.

I think I felt more of a thrill getting moves right in this game than in a lot of other things I've played (like Gears of War - am I the only person who thought it felt like moving a loaded shopping trolley with one wheel gone, trying to move Marcus Fenix around?)

I'd love to see another Lost Winds game. And I think Frontier could be the guys to give me the spell casting / sword play RPG we've all been waiting for on Wii.

Well done.
