COMING from someone who's always loved space and sci-fi, it just scrathches that itch.

I've done a lot in this game, and It's motivated me to learn more about astronomy, physics, all sorts. Some very, very clever people were involved in the design of this game and it has plenty of moments of brilliance where that shines through.

Something I always appreciated about ED is its approach to sci-fi. Where most other games are typical space shooters, ED showed love and passion for astronomy as a science. You have a galaxy to explore. There is space cartography with scientific names to all celestial elements, etc.

It's one of a kind. That is why it hurts to see the path ED took.
