I Made 25 Million Credits Today

And I just found an even better trade route, so I stand to make even more tomorrow.

Trading was lucrative before, but now with high demands, I say we're officially in a golden age of trading!

Care to share more details for the trading inept? ;)

Sure, I ain't greedy. My current route is between Meskenga and Drahuek. Tobacco one way for 1000 credits per ton, and Marine Equipment the other way for also 1000 credits per ton. There's also a trade route from Meskenga to Oleleuts with gold for up to 1400 credits per ton (1200 now that I fished the hell out of it), but the best return route is ore for about 500 credits per ton, so it isn't quite as good.

What ship are you using?

I'm running a decent route at the moment in a Asp with 128 cargo. Making 1200 one way, and 1300 back. I'm making some serious cash, but 25 million will take me like half a day :p

Mind giving me a loan for a Federal Dropship with your millions hehe

If only there was a way to earn nearly that much bounty hunting

Type 9. It limits you to the big stations, so I imagine you do lose out on some even better routes. but 500 tons of cargo space more than makes up for it.

If if you trade in rares you make 15,000-18,000 per ton. So 150 travel distance earns 300,000 for a small hauler one way.

Lies? Even in a type 9, how is 25 million credits in one day anything but proof that trading is amazingly profitable?

Also, profit from rare commodities caps out pretty quick. His route is much better than any rare trade route.

Yeah, Trading is improved now that they fixed the AI values screwing up the Supply/Demand.

The only way you're in a Type 9 already though is from early Rare Trading. Unless you play this game like 24/7 :p
It still es me off they allowed hundreds(thousands?) of people to make massive amounts of cash, then nerfed it for release. Those people are now able to continue to make massive amounts of profit because they have big ships from the start.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are slowly making our way up. I might have a Type 9 in a couple weeks if I play 6+ hours a day, trading non-stop.

Hey guys, I have a pimped Python. Would anyone like to join up and trade together? it would be so much more fun doing it with a few of us.

I have an ok trade run in Aulin. Anyone can have that route if they want too.

Nice post and Merry X Mas all :)

Sounds excessive, but it's a type 9 afterall, i'm not familiar with what the max. cargo capacity on that is.
Still you must've really dug in and grind it out...well done.

lols mr. "I am not greedy" Meskenga and Drahuek don't exist. :D

It's probably one of those wonderful system names that you have to check ten times as you type it in the nav search!

It's probably got about 3 extra letter I's and U's than he's describing :D

Heh I was making 6k per ton on Tuesday. =)

I'm using a ~1k each way trade route currently, I also have 1350 profit route but there's not much coming back.

Was thinking of looking into the rare commodities thing today but as I understand it stock's always really low so not sustainable.

so and how does this affect YOUR game?

The only way it would affect you is if you are in the race for the 10,000 bucks i guess. Its about who reaches the rank of Elite first, and im guessing its a bit easier if you already have a good big ship and stockpile of cash to boot?

Personally i dont care however. Im doing my own journey and adventure and i wouldnt get to Elite before others anyway since there will always be people putting more hours into the game then me.
