Recently did the same. Was already Pioneer, explored the rift extensively. Followed the rim until I was all the way “west”. Then headed to Colonia for the first time. Cashed in 350 mill worth of data. It was the plan to stay there for a while, lasted two days. I just can’t do populated space.
Traded the Asp for a Phantom and headed back out. I’m a few thousand from Sag A now. Will head all the way “East”, follow the rim to Beagle and assess the situation.
