I need help ASAP. I need to transfer my old steam account progress to new steam account.

Hello folks.
Like i said above i'm trying to do that but I'm afraid to lose money in the process.
My problem is i can't buy the Elite dangerous odyssey on my main steam account..
So i want to make new steam account and but elite dangerous and buy odyssey.
So the question here.....
Can i transfer my progress from my old steam to the new steam and continue playing from where i left ?

Please help ASAP.

your commander data is not in the Steam account, it is in the Frontier account linked with that Steam account

you should be able to unlink your Frontier account from the current Steam account, then link it to the new Steam account

or you could open a support request and ask the support to assist/help you in this endeavour

My guess would be yes - but you really should talk this through with support, as a small change at one step might make things much easier later on.

Because it's going to be super expensive !
It's a month salary where i'm from..
So imagin working a whole month to buy a simple game !!!
A whole month without getting food to eat every single day u go to work..
It's absurd !!!

Umm, Christmas/New Year? There may be some hold up, but in my experience support is pretty helpful with issues but you have to give them some slack after the big Christmas/New Year break. You did send a support ticket and not bug report? Just asking to make sure, bug report will do nothing, customer support is a different section.

He said he contacted Steam support, not FDev support.

Just checked - ED on FD: 19.99 GBP, ED on Steam: 24.99 €
Odyssey on FD: 29.99 GBP, Ody on Steam: 34.99 €
Same price for me 🤷‍♂️

Then, rather than jump the gun, get a new steam account & buy EDH & EDO all over again would it not be better to wait for steam support to help out first?

& Possibly check your spam emails, sometimes things end up there.

1USD is 27.15EGP ! (It's not stable and it's changing every min ! Changing for the WORSE !)

So.. i get 90EGP from my work everyday !

Now do the math.. electricity is stable from 850EGP to 1100EGP per month.. and add the food and water.. and so much more.

Didn't want to say that crap.. but here u go just to feel what it's tastes like. AWFUL ! lol.

I think the point was more that IF you are going to rebuy the game again (which I think is what you’re talking about doing?) then buying direct from FDev is no more than buying through Steam.

Maybe he wants to buy it from a key seller.

Anyway, the question is why he can't add Odyssey to his main steam account. If he buys a new copy of the game on a new account the problem might persist.

This. I wasn't discussing the absolute price (which sounds pretty awful from OP's description) but only the price difference between Steam and FD since, as far as I understood, OP wanted to buy the base game and Ody again.

If u create Tureky steam.. the game will be much much cheaper to buy !

Of course u know the new game COD MW 2..
It's cost us a 3/1 freshly graduated young man employee salary ! (2026EGP exactly !) he's salary is going to be around 3200-3600EGP)

This country is still in the stone age !
