I need some help with an idea to get The Dark Wheel to make their presence known.

Ok, so I'd have done this within my squadron and kept it between them if it worked, but they're rarely online these days, and I've hit a snag. As TDW are said to be "treasure hunters", I set about collecting all the rare commodities and bringing them back to Shinrarta Dezhra to sell at a station controlled by TDW. I currently have 134 of the 141 rare commodities, the remaining seven are currently unobtainable due to the required factions not controlling the systems / stations, one of the systems requiring a permit. Being that I have most of the rare goods, I'm not taking jobs that are going to risk my ship, so progress now is ptactically at a standstill.

I'm looking to change the controlling faction in the following systems Aganippe, Borasetani, Dea Motrona, Gilya, Hip 11831, and Wolf 1310 to the factions that produce the rare commodities. NLTT 12130 needs to be changed to obtain the permit for Jotun. I've been hopping about the above systems picking up jobs to work on changing the different factions influence, but like I say, it's incredibly slow now that I'm down to seven items remaining and don't want to lose the ship.

Anyone up for working on this?

Do you have any evidence or solid information that giving them all the rares will result in something meaningful?

No evidence, just an idea I had while listening to Drew's Lore Tour while I was heading out to Beagle Point.
Is any of those systems controlled by PMFs? If so, have you contacted them?

I'm sure at least one of the remaining places is, I haven't done as of yet, though I'm not sure if it would be worth asking over just working on it.

I see. Maybe it's a matter of which rares they want instead of a few of each

I figured I'd get one of each, it could also cover the "explorers / adventurers", being that its a good jaunt about the bubble. I'm triple Elite too, so I have that base covered. If it doesn't work, then I make some credits and re-gain the freedom that comes with not worrying about losing my ship, if it works, well, who knows what that could bring.

I was going to point you to the "Turning The Wheel" initiative (I'm Triple Elite also, albeit recently). And I would seriously doubt that the rare goods actually mean anything from a gameplay perspective on that profound matter...and yes, I mean on both counts.

Nope, haven't finished the journey, I've had a retinal vein occlusion in my left eye a couple of days after my last comment. I'm currently visually impaired in the left eye, with tv screens, monitors and my phone being harder work than normal and causing pain in the eye with prolonged use, I'm largely avoiding them at present.

My current theory is still that polaris is the dark wheels true location/home. Since its perfectly with in lore distance for where it would be, and its a unknwon permit system, and that implies that its an ingame permit thats obtainable. AND its also the hub of the night sky from earth, a perfect place for the dark wheel
