I dont have much time to be in Elite lately, the time i have i spend looting CMD buildings in hopes of settlement Defence plans, wich i simply dont get.
Buying orders for Settlement Defence Plans are active since the Bartender for Carriers exists but while people are always happy to buy all materials i can spare, No One sells me any that i need.

My Carrier is called: The Shieldwall Q2V-LXW and is currently at LACAILLE 9352.

I still need 2 Settlement Defence plans in Total. All Buy orders are at the maximum price. Help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have two I don't need on my carrier. I don't know if I have time to go and fetch them and then sell them to you, but if you want to pick them up, message me in game and I will set up a sell order. My carrier is the "Night On Earth" currently in HIP 19796, but I might move it later tonight.

The Plans are the thing i need most currently to finally unlock the next engineers. I upgraded multiple Suit/Weapons to 5 but i can barely put any mods in them because im always short something to unlock a engineer and the spots they are apparently most present share to many other, more common materials.

I am not going through your massive buy order list, but I dropped you two SDPs. If you are in dire need of something for the unlocks, give me a shout. I have all bubble engineers unlocked and have some stuff collected.

I did this recently on a mission for 3 bootleg liquor. I spent several hours grinding rep because the missions were locked. Eventually, I realized I hod no cargo rack on my DBX. Once I added cargo space, the missions "unlocked". The first mission spot yielded 25 SDP's in less than an hour (needed enough for 2 commanders). I spent the first 15-20 minutes hopping in and out of my SRV, just in case of attack. Once I stowed the SRV and moved my ship to the site, I realized there was a second crashed skimmer (dark side of the planet). It was very fast after that, with most relogs resulting in at least one SDP

TLDR: This is indeed a fast and efficient way to get SDP's

Thanks to those who sold some SDP's to my Carrier. Only missing 2 now. Where are these Bootleg Liquor missions? Are those Ship or Odyssey Missions? Thanks in adcance.

Ship mission board, look for the missions that require you for recover 4 (usually bootleg liquor). You need a SRV bay and at least 4 cargo space. Once the mission is taken, travel to the site and check for skimmers. If they are present, start the relog dance and DO NOT take the mission items, as this will remove the POI. As these missions can have up to 6 days to complete, if bored you can leave and return.

It is usually taking all such mission presented as not all will have the skimmers.

Yep i could not access it. I searched the entire evening without getting a single SPD. I searched multiple mission boards but none gave me the Bootleg Liquor missions. (I have a SRV bay and free cargo space)
So i went out for irregular markers and every single one i found, be it horizons or Odyssey Planets, were just a bunch of canisters and Horizons materials guarded by a few skimmers.

My Wife was watching me and asked me if the Game was kidding me :D
So yeah, if anyone still got 2 Settlement defence Plans, my Carrier is still at the same position.

I've used all I had unfortunately. Got mine from those crashed skimmers/minor wreckage missions. There are more than just the 'Liberate Bootleg Liquor' missions though I think.

I did this SDP farming not so long ago when I read this post: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/posts/9745341/. I think I was going for the 'Wartime surface recovery of [something]' missions. Keep searching the mission sites til you find one with 2 accessible skimmer data ports. Sometimes 1 of the skimmer data ports is rendered under the surface and is inaccessible.

Can't say I'm a fan of the relog dance, but since I managed to pick up 6 of these organically in 8 months followed by the remaining 9 at a crashed skimmer in a single evening it seems that realistically it's that, or get your headshot engineering from Yi Shen if you want this unlocked in any sort of reasonable time.
