I have mentioned on here that I had killed one of my boards. sent it off for repair. came back unrepairable.
went on amazon bought a new one that supported my cpu. when received and setup. it failed to boot with my cpu. asus site claims board supports it. damn I will have to send it back.
got in touch with supplier, and this is what happened.

yes board does function with a lower spec cpu. tested.
