I noticed a glaring error in the trailer

I was more interested in the Cobra's docking etiquette, they definitely didn't leave on the green side of the exit. Harumph.

Luckily it no longer works like that. I hated the Frontier style where the ship was just so many cubic meters of space that you could fill with gear and cargo.

Oh, I disagree, I thought it was great. Kind of thought of ships like an articulated lorry - you had the cabin up front that was fairly standard, and then had a giant area of unused space that you could do whatever you want with. Obviously, if you needed cabins, then you had to use some of that space, and ended up with less room for cargo. And mass would be an issue with an engine as well.

Who says that the various pieces of footage were taken in the very order they are shown in the movie? In the beginning the CMDR flew an Eagle - 4 units of cargo space - so it is quite possible that they just recorded the selling of the platinum with the Eagle.:p

Actually there is a small oversight in the video, or maybe the video cutting and editing.

When the Cobra launches off the pad it immediately retracts its landing gear.
In the next scene the new landing gear indicator still says "blue" which means the gear is still down, which, as shown in the previous scene, should now be retracted.

Uh, look at the screenshot - it says Cobra MkIII right there :p
