There are windows on the side of it, that indicate space intended for passengers...

My friend and I refer to the Hauler as a Space Winnebago. Window is for the kids on the family vacation.

the Hauler always seemed like a Ford Transit in SPAAAAAAAAACE! to me. Has a van-like windshield, air vents, etc. Good for hauling small loads over large distances or just transporting yourself and others (I can get my hauler to jump over 30ly with my taxi fit, nice for zipping around).

One of my favourite small ships in ED

I just hope that Frontier have some cool innovations for the Passengers. The basic loop of taxiing passengers from A to B seems very simple

I mined in my hauler when I was starting out in the game. It was very relaxing...unless you ran into trouble with pirates.
