Sounds like it will be on ios devices first and will release in some kind of Alpha form initially.
Looks like it will tie in with Galnet so maybe it won't work until that's in the game?

Hello fellow ED enthusiasts, been taking a break from gaming this last 2-3 months so not up to the latest news!
But I did hear a snippit the other day reguarding an APP for ED is this true?
I guess the APP is for trading and will it be available for android too???
I sincerely hope it will also be available for Android too.
Apps are nearly always developed for iPhone first because it's easier to cater for the limited numbers of different hardware i.e. IPhone 4, 4S, 5, etc.
Bit of a shame, seeing as Android has the leading market share for smartphones.
Thanks ZeeWolf Looks very interesting to me, I just bought myself a galaxy tab4 10.1" Would love an ED APP for it to help me trade!
