I pre-purchased the game last May. I didn't get it so I purchased it again in January. If anyone could tell me how to access a "Steam key" that would be great.

How has this taken you so long lol? If you purchased twice, does that mean you have 2 separate log ins, or they are both on the same account? Theres two ways to purchase: through Steam or through the FrontierStore.net, if you pre-ordered that means you purchased through Frontier and you need to copy your purchase key from Frontier to input into Steam.
To find you Steam key, go to the main page https://www.frontierstore.net/ make sure you are logged in, and you should see under the My Account menu, click on My Key Purchases which brings you here https://www.frontierstore.net/usd/customerkeys/
If you do not see anything there, make sure you are logged into the correct account. You can see your purchase orders, and downloadable products listed there too. If its all there, just click "Show Key" next to Planet Coaster, then copy that long number. Then go into Steam and look for the Steam Code option. If you really purchased twice, you should have 2 codes, so you can give one to a friend. If you still can't find your code, you should contact Frontier directly through their support email.
