Looks amazing truly, only the clipping problems bother me sometimes

yes clipping but guys - it's really good raptor hunting that hasn't been seen in the previous gameplay videos. This is a massive step up!
I feel like there's still a small moment there where the animation locks in, but it's really subtle and goes virtually unnoticed. All we need now is this extended to 2, 3 and maybe 4 raptors and we'll be laughing. I'll give that one the 6 months I reckon they'll need to pull that off (hopefully)
My only other slight qualm with this is that the victim appears to die pretty rapidly. I appreciate it's throat has just been ripped out, and they don't want to extend the gruesome factor too much but that sucker should still be squirming, fighting, kicking, gasping for air for at least 30 seconds before the finale. Too much to ask I guess but this is more than enough for me

I wish the killing blow was a kick and slash instead of a nip to the throat, but yeah, it looks pretty good.
I suspect the Hadrosaur is either sick or on low health.

Yeah the only thing messing it up is the head of the Raptor clipping through the Hadros neck. Otherwise it looks amazing and darn near perfect.

Keep in mind this is a game.
From the experts like the paleontologist who discovered utahraptor (which is much closer to a velociraptor in the JP/JW universe than a real velociraptor), yes, most likely. They'd latch on with the front arms and mouth and shred with the rear claws, sort of like a cat does sometimes playing with cat toys.
Even so, I take that with a grain of salt. I think they'd more likely avoid that unless hunting in packs and taking down weaker/sickly large dinos. In general I think they'd much prefer sticking to smaller prey.

I know, my comments were more leaning towards how much improvement there is over the very obvious lock-in we've seen in the previous game footage. I'm fully aware of the limitations being it's a game but I have nothing but appreciation fro the clear apparent effort to make things a lot more seemless
unlock the god damn game already steam!!!
This definitely has me hyped for the game even more now. Steam says it will unlock in 16 hours.
I can't wait to see Raptors chasing Parasaurs around in my Nublar park.
Bit longer of a wait than I was hoping for; well into the 12th then. [blah]
Oh well. More YouTube videos to watch this evening, I guess.
