Have they actually stated that this will be available for sale? I thought it was just for the Mercenary Edition (those who pre-ordered), unless that was a physical book, I forget now.

I don't think it is physical or know whether it will be sold, but in order to download it you would need to log into the store.
I bought the Mercenary Edition (I am not a Backer, unfortunately) and don't have the Art Book listed in My Downloadable Products; I just checked.
If anyone knows whether this has been released yet I'd be happy to know, too!

I'd like to know when this is going to see the light of day too. Presumably its when they actually finalise what ships are actually going to be in?

Given the current rate of ship progress that could be quite some time, and why not wait for EVAs and Planetary Landings too? ;-)

Did they ever say what would be in the book other than just simply concept art? It doesn't necessarily need all the ships, like a ship guide book. I suspect they intended to release it with the game release since it was intended to be part of the Mercenary Edition content and hence doesn't need to wait for future developments beyond 1.0... but why the radio silence?
