As silent as a shadow, amidst the shadowy mining location in the ring of the anarchic LP system, I hunt.
Woe to any that have a bounty on their heads.
I lurk in my icy windowed lair, 0% energy emissions. I have Shields, Frameshift Drive, and power grid idle as I hunt. My engines operate at 75% capacity with its power unregulated, and my pulse lasers still fire at a rate of two power ticks or so.
I use the darkly shrouded rocks in this region for cover, for stealth, and as a clever weapon. I lurk around them to approach my prey. If I become the hunted, I curl around their shadowy mass so that pursuers will not only break their aim upon my unshielded craft, but quite often smash into the black rocks in their tunnel vision-ed pursuit!
I also use the darkness to alert me to arriving prey. The flash of their re entry from Frameshift Transit strobes a flash of light across the dark rocks.
Often times my victims drop ore canisters in their defeat in this particular region, and my craft gobbles them up like a shark in the void. Freeport, being a pirate base, has no shortage of black market dealers to fence stolen loot. The outfitter there even sells stealth lasers and automated repair kits, as a tribute to my fearsome craft.
Only time will tell if this shadowy field of rocks and wrecks will emerge into the sunlight, as the ring circles its Gas giant. Maybe the mining operation will shift to remain in the shadows, to continually enable my dark Hobby.
So, come visit me, if you are of like mind, and wish to prowl not as wolf packs, but as shadows with unseen fangs!
[so, how do YOU play- but worded all fancy and epic as this?]
