So I have an X52 pro HOTAS setup and the one annoyance with it for me was the HAT button on the throttle for your index finger.. Its a smooth surface, with ridges for the sides.. and its great if your wanting to move the hat from left to right, but due to the button being smooth up/down its a little harder to use..
Now I use mine for thrusters, and the last thing i need is for my finger to slip or not easily control the hat button when im landing or in a turning fight with an opponent..
So I went to home depot and got a small strip of Velcro (hook and loop) with a very strong adhesive backing. I cut a small 1cm x 1cm piece and stuck the hook side to the HAT button..
Its SO much better now! Its plastic so it wont get dirty, and very grippy!
I saw a few posts in other forums on solutions for this, and thought i would post my solution here for anyone whos been looking for one
