I recently bought the elite dangerous on Steam, but when I started the game it was impossible to connect to the server anyone know what to do?

Planned maintenance on the game servers takes place every Thursday morning - it might be that.

....also after maintenance you may need to do magic with accounts - i.e. bind steam account to frontier account (if launcher pops "yellow buttons" instead "blue play"). Search this forum for solutions.
