I see you added Visual Effects

You have VFX in the park, but visual effects are actually something done by a computer in post production. What you're after is "Special Effects" which are done practically.

not entirely true, as long as its visual and an FX, it qualifies and the term is used a lot in the industry, i did stage design and lights (projector mapping, visuals/lights control/productions) and stage FX, these could easily be considered visual FX, the term "VFX" and "Special Effects" have very broad meanings and are used interchangeably, though not always correctly.

everyone in the stage design industry refers to stage FX as Visual FX. honestly it just really depends on what its used for that dictates whether or not its called VFX or special FX.

for example, if the flamethrower was just used on the coaster for excitement, its a visual FX, if the flamethrower is used to say, make a building look like its burning down, its a special FX.

the term special FX is used generally for an FX thats used to trick the mind into believing a scene is real.

the term VFX is used when FX is used, well, just for visual entertainment purposes.

the term VFX is not used solely for computer generated images in film.
