I seem to have lost a system

Yup an whole system

This one

ICZ EL-Y d89
Screenshot_1003_1.png

I cannot find it on the Galaxy map

Nothing comes up when I search for it
or ICZ EL
or ICZ EL-Y d89 B
or any other combo

I can find several systems ICZ EL-Y dxx by searching the area that I am sure it was in....

How do I lose a whole system

What stupid thing am I doing or not doing or seeing?

It is INSIDE Human space, or was when I was last there

It's the space madness!!! :D

Try using a D instead of a d

Might work, I have had that before.. Good Luck!

Someone else posted that the navigation search was not providing results and that he put a ">" mark at the end before hitting enter.
Don't know if that will help.

Hi having a similar problem with
ICZ FW-V B2-5
ICZ MQ-T B3-1

and another one I can't remember what it is.

I think I had a similar problems, I deleted out the - and replaced them with -.

But, wait, surely that's the same symbol? But one is on the numpad, the other is on the main keyboard. The second time it happened it went the other way, so it really makes no sense at all.

A day or two before 1.3 update using Trade computer Extension it ask for four references when you enter a
system it does not know depending on where you are.

Hi Vasious
.
I believe you...I thought let's try to help this CMDR.. and I tell ya; something screwy is going on with the galaxy Navigation search box!!!!
.
I typed just "ICZ" (without the speech marks of course) and got up a plethora of systems starting "ICZ"... I cycled through and noted a few likely candidates down..... THEN I went away, came back to the Navigation Search Box with the few candidates I had FOUND on the map; typed the first one in... and hit the find button.... NOTHING!!!! The cursor just sat there.
.
You haven't lost your "ICZ EL-Y D98" system...I'm sure it's there but the search function just refuses to show it.
.
I found the following "ICZ" systems situated between HEIMRITA and XI WANGAR:
.
ICZ EL-Y C9
ICZ EL-Y C14
ICZ EL-Y C17
.
I also found a good candidate for YOU, if we can factor in a miss-spelling on your behalf, that is: ICZ DL-Y D98
.
The only problem is: Now I have found these systems and seen them with my own eyes, I CAN'T NOW GET THE MAP SEARCH FUNCTION TO FIND THEM AGAIN!!!!
.
I think you have come across a bug, you will need to send in a support ticket I'm afraid!
.
Best of luck, Fly Safe!

I had this problem a few times whilst out away from inhabited space. I fou d putting in a space between the last "-" character and the final number sorted it out.

Did you click search twice?

Enter the search term, click the > button. Nothing happens.
Move your cursor away from the button until it goes back to grey, go back and click it again.

I've found I have to click twice on systems with procedural names. The catch is if you've put in a partial search then you have to cycle through all the results to get to the one you want.
