I should know this! When you sell a ship does the equipment devalue if you don't remove them?

I know the ship value devalues.

But does the equipment?

I always manually remove the upgrades. Do I need to do this?

Yes. Sell modules separately for full value back. Otherwise they will take they same loss (as the ship) on sale.
