I suggest the following gameplay tweaks

After playing about 100 hours of ED I have the following I'd like to be considered.

1. The model as to who gets the bounty when you make a kill seriously needs to change. I'm sick of battling away at a foe and wearing them down only for some punk (NPC or otherwise) to jump in at the last second and deliver the single last blow and steal the bounty. It makes me want to scream. You can't even attack them without becoming wanted yourself!! I say it should be given to the commander who has the most hits in or something instead or perhaps at least have the bounty split between the hunters according to how many hits they inflicted perhaps.

2. Stop the cops or other NPCs fliying into your line of fire or bumping into you! I've lost count at the how many fines I've had to pay due to the this. If it is easier to implement then just have a friendly fire rule where you are allowed say 3 hits before a fine is awarded against you.

3. I don't think that having a 100cr fine should warrant a death sentence by the cops. I think the threshold before the cops try to kill you should be 1000cr as you can pick up a 200cr fine for an innocent friendly fire or collision incident (neither of which could be your fault) and then you become the hunted!?!. Doesn't feel fair to me.

Undoubtedly there will be more but those are the 3 that most readily comes to mind at the moment

Would also be nice if the cops stopped trying to kill you after you paid the fine.

Indeed. I've even had the cops attack me when I'm not wanted (in any system) which is odd considering I hadn't just paid a fine.

I've once (yesterday) had the station attack me. I might try and reproduce it with a Sidewinder. Pretty sure the steps are...

1. Get docking permission.
2. Pick up a loitering fine whilst inside the station but then land properly.
3. Pay the fine.
4. Launch and exit the station.
5. The station will then fire on you destroying your ship.

+1, I thought it would already be so that the bounty is split based on how much damage you dealt to the opponent during the fight. I was a bit surprised that it doesn't work like this. When in a group, I'd expect the money to be based on your threat level vs the threat level of the other people in the group combined with how much damage each person did. That way someone in an Anaconda can't take someone in a Sidewinder hunting to make the bloke in the Sidewinder rich quick.
