For anyone outside the know. Every flight suit helmet has been turned to a jet black color regardless of the colors for the actual flight suit. Gold is black. Green and white is black. Everything is black. Black is even a slightly different shade of black...

I had expected to see this fixed in the patch notes today but apparently fixing things that players paid actual money for is not on their list of priorities. We all know how they have chosen to spend their recent time instead. Fixing non issues...

And I would just like to point out this was a known issue for them since Beta. I only personally noticed it recently but the fact that there are bug reports going back that far means that either they have tried and they can't fix it. Or they haven't bothered to give any effort towards the issue at all...I don't know which seems worse to me.

But my problem is that we payed for these items for their looks. Their aesthetics. They are cosmetics after all. So if Fdev cannot do something as simple as preserving these items to retain their looks over each update. Why should I have ever given them more money? Why would I ever again do so in the future? When I know they cannot be trusted?

I mean, it sounds like your answer is your thread title. If you're not satisfied, you can vote your displeasure by spreading the word and not buying anything else. It's FD's job to earn your money if they want it, right?

Frontier has nerfed helmets so that all CMDRs, including IndigoWyrd, reveal their faces.

It is Fdevs job to get people to want to pay for these things. Yes. No issue there. But it is also more importantly their responsibility to maintain the integrity of the items that were sold. (as you can see I wear a jacket over it so the only part I care about was the helmet)

I have not a single issue in throwing down 5$ for a golden flight suit and helm. With the amount of time spent in this game I consider it almost free.

But when I buy a golden flight suit with a golden helmet for the sake of having a golden flight suit with a golden helmet. I think I being reasonable when I expect it to stay that same golden color that I was attracted to in the first place.

It will no doubt get repaired.
Perhaps there are complications which cause a delay.

Doesn't bother me. It only comes up during emergencies for me, a minor detail. Vote with your wallet as you are entitled to.
