I think I almost got hyperdicted near SOL...

Ok I don't know if this is the right place for this, or if anyone else has had this, could even be a bug. Bit this literally just happened.

So here goes... I was heading back to SOL from Luhman 16 to hand in some missions. Not paying attention in the jump, when all of a sudden there was a strange noise, like a distorted thud and the SOL star in front of me went green, all the other stars disappeared taken over by a green mist. Almost like a hyperdiction apart from the ship flew straight rather than tumble. Frickin made me jump and almost crap myself. If it was some kind of hyperdiction, is this why everyone can enter SOL?

Sorry guys I failed to get a screenshot or recording, because I uninstalled Adrenalin after it caused massive frame drops, and I hit F11 (record in Adrenalin) instead of F12. Gonna fire up obs just incase it happens again.

Has anyone else had this happen yet?

This is just something that occasionally happens, I believe due to network issues during the hyperspace "load screen." It tends to happen when jumping to systems with lots of players, so Sol would be a prime candidate.
Not Thargoid related sadly. But I thought the same thing the first time it happened to me, so you're not alone!

Ah well that sucks. Its the first time in 2 years of playing thats happened. I got all excited
