I think I know why Aviary is not in JP era

Everyone, including me has been baffled by the lack of an aviary in the JP era parks. It didn't seem to make much sense, especially since the aviary in the campaign would fit really well in the style for JP themed parks.
But I think I might have found at least a reason why. When the pterosaurs get sick, or die, they have to be moved.
And how are they moved? By drones. And those drones didn't exist in 1993.

So for there to be aviaries in JP era. There would have to be a different solution to move the animals out of the aviary to get rid of dead ones or heal the sick. And since games are very complicated things to make, it's not hard to imagine that there might not have been time to implement such a different way to move the animals.
And the same could potentially be said for the lagoons since they use remoted operated submarines. It's not quite as futuristic, but still might not fit in JP era.

It would be cool if Tylosaurus could be added to the j.p. era. But yeah I noticed that the j.p. era Aviary isn't present in the game when you put on just Jurassic Park in SANDBOX.

There were drones in '93. Coalition forces used them extensively in Desert Storm as scouts and decoys to hunt down Iraqi anti-air defenses. Frontier would just need to reskin them to something more period appropriate than the apple product vibe. It wouldn't even be the biggest anacronism that Jurassic Park has seen.

JP style 1st generation drones? Introduced in 1989, the GNAT-750 is a long-endurance tactical surveillance and support system that has been flying since 1989. Predator is a growth version of the GNAT-750. The GNAT System offers the combination of long endurance, large payload capacity, ease of use and low maintenance while providing a very low cost per flight hour.

Is it
1. small enough to go inside aviaries and carry pterosaurs?
2. strong enough to carry pterosaurs?
3. able to attach the "rope thingy" to carry the pterosaurs?

I suppose you're right yes. I hadn't really looked into when exactly the first drones ere used. But arguements sake, at least the type of drones we see in the game are a very modern thing.

This. It already seems like a bit of a stretch to have drones that can carry pterosaurs in the JW era. But even if some types of drones technically did exist. Would it be believable to have them that advanced? It probably would seem out of place and I'd think Universal would be sticklers for this kind of thing and what is appropriate for which era.

It doesn't matter cause when you build a park in Sandbox it isn't 1993. There is no date involved. That's like a weak excuse for not having a JP themed aviary or allowing us to have access to the JW style aviary and a JP style aviary. If you want to play a JP themed park build in sandbox you are locked out of half the new content. It's not right at all. But you can choose both styles and get access to the aviary. Then you also get hit with the JW era transport rating and it hurts your park. It's ok if you don't care about that and you're are just building for the creative aspect and fun. But if you want to run a legitimate park it will hurt you.

Indeed, does explain some things. The quad-copter is certainly modern, but an RC helicopter seems a replacement that'd probably be sufficient.

The JP3 scenario uses Jurassic World buildings, so it still seems pretty weird that the Pteranodon skin was cut.

In the JWE universe aviation tech is clearly more advanced, given that we can lift a 65 ton dinosaur with a helicopter. Real world helicopter record with cargo on hook is 20 tones as of 2021.

Yeah. I agree too. Besides, I like your PFP
