Proving once again that FD do listen and take onboard what is said by the players, now if only people could remember it instead of reverting next time an issue arises. Thanks Sandro, some of us trust you

Having a tool there but not being able to use it is not the same as not having the tool there.
But...it was listened to. After a several thousand comment argument, there's an official FD poll on whether it should be instant or not. Which is a good turn, because it's listening to people and introducing sense to an otherwise poor idea. Hopefully it will be in the middle of people it annoys and those that are happy with it.
On the other hand, you have my virtual blessing for picking someone up on thread derailing

Probably not, but for this one feature that everyone loves to argue about its pretty great of them to let us vote on it imo.

Perhaps they are less vocal because.. hmm.. they're BUSY, now leave them alone and let them work, or 2.3 will be done before 2.2 is released.
They are highly depressed, and are waiting for the new meds to take effect.
Seriously, just release the bugfixes, and many of us will . Your "features" will not be diminished by it.
What do you want them to chat about?
There was a live feed just yesterday.
They are busy getting 2.2 out of the door.
And that release, like every release, will contain fixes too.
And no doubt it will introduce new bugs, because that is simply inevitable.
