I think I may have found them?

Do I hear the thunderous roar of Canonn boots running to investigate

Congratulations on finally reuniting with your mom.

But then again, riddle me this, if we already have water worlds like Founders World etc etc, that have greenlands, doesn't that mean they have life too?

And don't argue terraforming, if you dig deep enough you can find similar looking waterworld with greenlands way outside habitable space, so what gives. Greenlands = Plants = Animals feeding on them = life

ED is full of planets with life.

It's space-faring, intelligent life that matters.

Who said there wasn't life on planets in ED? That we can't land on them (yet) doesn't mean they don't exist. They do and it says clearly in the description.

Also OP, these gas giants with different types of life (usually water or ammonia based) are pretty common in certain regions of the galaxy. Explorers discover hundreds of them every day.

My Pioneer hat tells me that you are indeed correct and that there are millions of Ammonia planets with life, but somehow, this one is different [alien]

Look at the pic again. There's a space creature hiding behind the first planet. Yes, it's not obvious at first, but if you study the pic, you can just make it out.

It's obviously big enough to have its head in space but it doesn't mean it's space-faring and intelligent. Maybe it's alone on that planet because it ate every other living thing and it's still dumb?

I think I've decoded the picture, by binary-ally juxtaposing the third "tendril" with the left "eye", I think it says:

"Dave's mum's house, half past four, Tuesday week"

ps. I rep your "mad art skillz"

Can someone process this picture through an image-audio converter so we can see what kind of morse code is encoded in it? I dont think this can be considered a clue if it's not conveyed in hidden morse code ...either inverted or rot13'd after being sped up to 3.14 times normal samplerate.
