I haven't flown one myself, but there seems to be plenty of love for the Orca round here. What's your beef with it?

He should have said the Orca is an awesome ship. It has almost totally replaced the clipper as it can do everything better (except turn); its faster, better armor, better shields, higher mass lock factor, better jump range, better fuel tank and can use fixed weapons. It's the best pirate ship and blockade runner as nothing that can catch it can mass lock it.

If your friend is saying the Orca is a good ship, they are very trustworthy and are apparently well endowed in the cognisance department. Orca is splendid. A++ would blurp, bing and swoosh again. Very smooth transactions.

40 ly jump range on mine with G5 DD thrusters, C5 Fuel scoop with an extra tank, fast and responsive. Find the right passenger missions and the thing prints credits. You can take is sideways through the slot at full throttle and still slow to make the first ring of pads in the station.

With the right extras, it's an excellent ship. Brass poles, 1970's era plush carpets, disco balls.. All that's missing are zebra print paintjobs in various flashy colors. It's a flying party zone!
