I think my vendors are on strike

With 12 vendors zoned on this spot, how big is the chance that they are all on coffee break? I guess that loitering until it's your turn, may be exhausting too.
On a normal day there are at least a few hundred guests here standing in the queue or chilling on the benches. It's around 40 degrees outside, and this place/restaurant is cooled to a mere 20 degrees. Don't mind the signs, I am not yet sure if all the shops are profitable here, so some may be deleted.

The chance is super high if you put down all the shops while the game was paused. If they all started working at the same time they almost all end up going on break at the same time.

I have started placing the shells and spacing out when I add the shops when I group shops up now, for that very reason. Even if you have extra vendors to cover breaks, it can take a bit for them to get to the shop (unless you have so many extra that they can always do a break-switch before the working person leaves).

Every time before I starting building, I think of that. And every time when I'm done building, it is all forgotten. I am just to hasty with these things.
In this case I was lucky to be able to do "undo" a few times, but it took me quite some time, while looking at it, before I noticed that it was grass what I saw and not the floor.

My experience that the spare vendors go walking about idle, and that they not all are back on the same time to take over the shop. After a few game years it's all random.

This is true, it balances out over time. That first break after placing them though, oof, so many unhappy guests because all the shops are closed. I'm more concerned about the lost income than their happiness though. :devilish:

I wished that spare vendors just staid put in the shop until it was their shift. People in the real world do that too. When you're early on your shift, you either help out of sit in the back sipping a cup of coffee.

I’m not sure if it’s related to your vendor issue but I’m having a problem where some shops become inaccessible randomly. The vendor will leave, I will get an alert to shop hasn’t had a vendor in awhile, and if I hire a new vendor and place him/her in front of the shop, instead of tending to the shop, they will just wander away and just walk around the zoo. It forces me to delete the shop and place a new one to fix the problem. It’s ransom and only happens occasionally. Hopefully your vendors return soon :)

I had this happen as well. Just one time, with one shop. But it was really weird! The shop had been working fine....for like 40 to 50 game years and then all of a sudden, it was inaccessible...even though I'd made no changes, literally anywhere in the zoo, in a really long time.
Seems I'm not the only one it has happened to.
