I think that this bug should be addressed in Odyssey update 7 because it's very important for Explorers FD

There is a specific problem with Biological Signals displaying wrong name is DSS.i have encountered more that enough times so it's definitely a reality.
When the scan is finished and you get the types of biological signals , bacteria etc most of the times frutexa is identified as Shrubs. So you spend a lot of time to find stratum and it's frutexa you are looking. This has to be addressed cause a-lot of time lost because of a bug. Also stratum is more easy to indentify that frutexa.
This is one of the planets that i experienced this Qiefua NJ-O d7-23 AB 1 c (Planet)
I hope that this helps you FD

Nope, never seen that, not in the DSS, not on the ground. If it says frutexa, frutexa is there although I believe that's called Shrubs in the DSS, and if it says Stratum, Stratum is there, do you have screenshots of this behaviour because it is certainly new to me. Mind you I haven't checked bios for a couple of weeks so it may be new behaviour.

Never saw such an issue.
Anyway.
It's more crucial to increase payouts for organic data.
Since the Exobiology rank is a way too grindy now.
They did this thing to the mercenary rank, so it's a logical way to come through.

Payouts seem fine with some items selling for 800k pre-bonus, but the bonuses for first discovered do not apply to the rank progression. Maybe that has to be, otherwise we’d progress too fast. I don’t want the bonus included if that means lowering the bonus or increasing the milestone amounts.

on-topic: stratum seems to overlap shrubs a lot, like they need similar conditions. It’s likely the case that what you were looking for was just uncommon and the stratum were everywhere. I have encountered a few bugs, like unscannable stratum, and I’ve had some flora that I gave up on after scouring for an hour and finding not a single fungoid in any blue areas, but never has there been “this is the one thing in this area(or planet)” and then it was something else.

The unscannable Stratum is the only bug I have seen with scanning, used to be some invisible plants but they seem to be less common these days!
