I think they overdid the drawbacks of Power Play specific Modules

Honestly, after browsing through all that people have figured out and I, myself, having earned the ability to buy prismatic shields, think the devs went a bit far with the drawbacks. I can understand that they don't want any modules making a huge swing in game balance, especially when it takes 4 months to get the item that may make the big difference, however, these items are just about useless.

I honestly think there are all of 2 items that I 'might' find useful and the prismatic shields are one of them but they're at a cost of being a turtle and not a fighter. I think the drawbacks and lack of power of these modules could be tweaked a bit. After, playing for the past 3+ months, grinding an anaconda, python, vulture and a clipper to store my anaconda's big prismatics on, I'm just about ready to stop playing for a while. I feel like I spent a lot of effort working on something for a letdown after a month.

I think the game is great and I also think more can be added and will be down the line to keep people busy. I have spent money on skins and I don't mind the ships look great (still waiting for those anaconda skins). Not much else for me to do if I can't grind money except explore and I just don't feel like like it. I'm not trying to sway the emotions of the devs or anyone else. I'm just stating how I feel.

Please consider tweaking the PP modules so people have something to work for. I feel if I'm not building something or working towards something with a sense of reward then the game is not giving me a reason to play it and I don't RP much. (exploration is really the only thing left, however, it's a good one but there needs to be more.) Maybe missions that take you out further for better rewards. Missions that take a day out to deep space. The rewards have to be worth it, though.

i agree wholeheartedly, i spent a month grinding daily to stay at rating 3 for the Cyto-scrambler only to find that it is completely useless against ships smaller and faster than a python,. i feel like everyone who participated in PP has been Shafted by FDev.
Either that or PP is the biggest practical joke in history.

Shields are fine IMO, they already offer significant advantage for certain ships/setups, if their benefits will be increased / drawbacks reduced they will become just best possible choice for any ship.
As for other modules... some of them definitely look like they require some tweaking...

If the Imperial Hammer wasnt such an energy hog, I would have been happy with it.
Seems like a novelty since its too small for my vulture and takes too much power from my DBS....It just doesnt fit into my kit scheme...perhaps a ship in future releases would benefit better.

Can you show me a setup where it's a significant advantage? I'd like to see the power management.
