I took on a Fer-de-Lance, Vulture and Viper!

Awesome fight man, would you mind sharing you build? Your shields just tanked all, curious how many boosters you got going

Your opponents were terrible, but I'm still fairly impressed. Nice to see an all cannon setup still perform.

I can't believe how many of them allowed themselves to collide with you while their shields were depleted. Also, a conspicuous lack of chaff, or thruster, use.

It's not that their shields were down. The FDL has TWO RINGS before the collision. Then winds up with 20% hull after. He clearly had 0 pips in shields. And I, for one, can't be impressed by an experienced PvPer beating up on obvious (or oblivious?) PvE players.

I wish more fixed weapons/chaff/FAO were used during the battle. Since as it stands your opponent do not know how to use any of the mentioned, either.

Where do you find such terrible Elite FDLs? Are they there just to stage defeat? How much did you pay them? How does a player get to Elite without knowing how to deal with gimbaled cannons?

Shield cell banks have once again proven their superiority in combat. Losing faith in the ranking system day by day...

Bookmarked, to study how to win.

I cant believe that FDL was low enough to use the SC exploit after you just beat them 1v3. Lowest of the low. So glad you sent him packing a second time.

I didn't say down. I said depleted. Anything less than full is depleted. I do not ram ships, or allow my ship to be rammed, with depleted shields and less than four pips in SYS, unless I can be certain my ship's total mass and current shield strength dwarf that of my opponent.

He clearly had 0 pips in shields.

Well, almost certainly less than 2.5 pips.

And I, for one, can't be impressed by an experienced PvPer beating up on obvious (or oblivious?) PvE players.

They had three ships, two of which can easily be made to outclass his own in nearly every facet of combat, and all three of which are easily capable of disengaging from an Asp at will. The FDL pilot even used SC to recharge shields.

OP stuck around once things got risky and handled himself well. I respect that, even if I think what he does is silly.

Have you seen my fight with CODE member aSnEaKyNiNjA?

Here's my Viper vs his Vulture:

That many shield boosters with that many cells.. You might as well be a class 7 shield for a conda.. cannons doe..So much DPS for the hull

great fight, but these guys are not very good tho, a vulture alone should already have the upper hand, but at least you got the balls to stay and fight

Greetings CMDRs,

This is what happens when a Fer-de-Lance, Vulture and Viper try to collect my massive bounty.

Whether your opposition were any good is besides the point for the most part, you would have thought a gang of three would still surely have the advantage no matter how experienced they are, but hey credit where it's due, very, very nicely done. SCBs are the way of things, everyone has them so no one is at a disadvantage whether you approve of them or not, yet still with your opponents SC(ing) out and back in again, with their previously downed shields, back up again (there "so" needs to be some sort of fix for this), you still had them all on the run. Respect, of course there are some incredible pilots out there who combine flight assist together with it off, you have this down to a "T" to try and negate the Asp's mediocre turning circle. Well done, I enjoyed watching that!

Nice battle...

But I have to say, when I see cases like this I still look fondly back on the Alpha/Beta days when combat was down to just guns and shields, and not how many shield cells you could squeeze into a ship to out-tank your opponents.
