It's really more for spicing things than being eaten on it's own. Some like it on gingerbread biscuits though.

I have no idea about it being an acquired taste. I have ALWAYS loved the stuff. On crackers or especially a really decent blue cheese dressing for a salad is to die for. I will buy some good blue cheese dressing and then buy crumbled blue cheese to mix into it. It just adds that extra snap IMO.

Its not easy to be blue cheesy .. lol

No it doesn't! It needs to be served on a Hovis digestive!

Stilton sauce is extremely easy to make and fantastic with steak. Also, put a slice of Stornoway black pudding on a burger and crumble stilton over the top for a fantastic "black and blue" burger.
