So, I got this "make a video or poster presentations about conics" assignment, and was wondering what to do.

No he was looking for the shortest distance the two stars can have, which he did,, but it would take 3 years until thAt happens. Real time.

Thank you for clearing that up, I was confused how anyone could have discovered the cheap palladium in the first place if it took 3 years to get there!

The level of detail in Frontier's programming/algorithms/coding to simulate how 2 stars move realistically is just downright astounding. Truly a remarkable game.

And, yes, adipose have some rep sir, well done.
