I visited a star system, but all the planets are missing, when I checked the system via the GalMap

That happened once before, when I first visited Colonia. Colonia was originally called EOL PROU something, and Frontier changed the name and added a bunch of new stuff to the system. After they made all the changes to the system and renamed it to Colonia, all I could see when I looked at Colonia’s system map were the main stars, but nothing else. I have since went back and now I can look at Colonia via the GalMap, and see all the planets and bodies.

That happened later, with a generic system with an auto-generated name. Months ago, I was leaving the bubble and finally found a system that wasn’t completely scanned by other commanders. I scanned the system and bookmarked the earth-like. I was going through bookmarks, deleting bookmarks I no longer needed, and found that the system’s stars were the only things that were visible, and none of the bodies and planets were visible via the System Map.

I went back to the star system a couple days ago and now when I look at the system map, via the galaxy map, I can see all the planets and bodies in the system map. The system looks the same, and has a been repopulated with “discovered by me” tags, back from when I originally visited the system and scanned stuff.

Any idea what happened? The system doesn’t seem to have anything different now.

Is this due to the wonderful idea of F D to make just about everything "unknown" until you jump in to the system?
Except it's been like that since long before Chapter 4 was released, I just hadn't gotten around to going back to the system until recently. I had bookmarked an earth-like, and the Galaxy Map showed a

icon, indicating a body within the system was bookmarked, but when I opened the system map, all I saw were stars and nothing else. When I returned, everything appeared within the system, including my bookmarked earth-like.
