"I Want It All" Queen of Sag A* in Open - take care

Hey, just wanted to give you guys a heads-up that there is a griefer in a Federal Corvette (fully armed, I checked) at Sagittarius A* in Open right now, I advise you to arrive there only in private group or Solo (I just switched to Open because I was curious and very careful, nothing happened to me).

Considering the time it takes to drag a Corvette out there, its probably gonna stay there for quite a while, so avoid the system in Open for a while...

Hes not griefing, if he had taken the time out to get there he can do what ever he wants. The same as you did flying there

That will be griefing then, let's not try and dress it up as anything else. If he's in open then he's fair game if he interdicts and kills CMDRs. I hope he's killed soon in that case.

Hmmm, last time a certain piece of unwanted shrubbery attempted this I seem to recall that Cmdr ~~Alot~~ Anuranium responded and flew all the way out there to do a spot of "pruning".

I never fly out Exploring without fitting a full complement of beam weapons and torpedoes in my Anaconda now. I am fully prepared for any commander in open who wants to try it on. Fact is i am hoping they will because i will be a nasty surprise for them as i lurk in deep space.

You are correct of course, but this guy is still a jerk. What possibly gratification does he get other than ruining another persons hard work?Low self esteem and an over active control complex i suspect are the root causes

'Griefer' to me means someone who is harassing someone in chat with insults and other bullying language, preying on people's insecurities.

Based on your description, I think a more accurate term according to the dichotomy for this outlaw is a Marauder. However since they're out there in a corvette, they're likely a Coward Marauder but they could be a Reaving Marauder given we don't know if they specifically target weaker ships or any ships.

I realise it's mighty painful to have seen a comrade slain by a bloodythirsty coward but clearer terms let us know more about what we're dealing with. I don't believe griefer is the right term here. Stay safe out there!
